What I’d love to see in Transformers 3

9 07 2009

Okay, so Transformers 2 isn’t what everybody wants it to be. But honestly I enjoyed it very much since I watched it in IMAX and the sights were spectacular, regarding of the story.

As for Transformers 3, I’d love to see some more drama for Autobots. Maybe some romantic side of Optimus Prime with Elita One. But please don’t bring in Rodimus Prime and other G2 characters yet. One of the problems with Transformers 2 is that they have a lot of Autobots and Decepticons to play with. So they need to juggle those characters carefully next time around.

What other Transformers character would you like to see? For me, aside from Elita One, I’d love to see Sunstreaker going into action side by side with Sideswipe. Perhaps Wheeljack and Perceptor. And since we have combiner robots like Devastator, maybe in the next Transformers we can see Superion vs. Bruticus!!

Just a thought :]

Aston Martin One-77

15 11 2008

With the new James Bond Quantum of Solace coming out, it sure looks like a great day for Aston Martin marketing team. The new Aston Martin One-77 looks very awesome indeed and this model will only be made just 77 units. But according to this article on Artcatchr, looks like there are already 100 units pre-order on this One-77 Model. So I don’t think they can make this one for only 77 units. But who would buy an expensive car in a time like this? Sure, Aston Martin is well known for its craftsmanship and authenticity the company puts in its car but the price is going to be very high for this one. I’m sure that there’re millionaires and billionaires who would break no sweat in buying expensive items like this. For me, just a desktop wallpaper would do fine and hoping that one day I’d be able to drive one of Aston Martin cars. Even for just a rental, haha.

Check out the link on Artcatchr for more pictures on Aston Martin One-77.

Cell Phone as a Car Key?

26 09 2008

Apparently Sharp has joined forced with Nissan in creating a cellphone that can act as a car key. Quite nice! I’m not sure if this picture I found on Artcatchr is the finalized product or not. But it’s still quite an interesting take on the whole cellphone and automobile industries. The cellphone is expected to hit the market in 2009. Take a look at the article in the mean time.

Believe it or not, this is a wooden car. I’m not sure if the picture here is a computer-generated one or not. But the actual car is made of wood. Wow.

Death Race – The Cars of Death Race

21 08 2008

Remember the day when you were playing Twisted Metals video games and thought how could it would be to have a movie like that? When I first saw the trailer of Death Race, I thought it’s a cross between Mad Max: The Road Warrior and Twisted Metals video game. It’s just so awesome to drive a car with mounted machine gun on the hood. Check out the video on the link (courtesy of IGN Filmforce).

Audi O

13 08 2008

Wow, this is a really nice concept car. Think of it this way: a mobile boombox. Apparently this concept has a nice combination of a car and a boombox. It even has its own turntable at the rear and even Bluetooth technology to link with other Audi O cars. Nice!

The Demise of General Motors?

6 08 2008

I found this article on the New York Times and it’s about the downfall that General Motors is facing now. Considering the long tradition and heritage that General Motors has so far, the company is facing quite a serious problem and a major loss throughout the year. It also needs to compete with car manufacturers worldwide. The main problem is that this, to me, is no longer the day and age for gigantic pick-up truck or SUV cars. What we need now is cars that can get from one place to another place but also save gas for us. In the area where I live, I see at least five Smart cars – those cars that really tiny for 2 passengers but I heard that they save on a gas mileage.

Maybe what General Motors needs now is a new Research and Development focus – focusing more on how to save gas mileage but also retain the very brand of General Motors. Just a thought.
