Wow, I don’t why the previous version of Sony Ericsson Bluetooth wristwatch escaped my radar but I just found out they’re manufacturing newer models. The catch is these are specifically aimed at women. The new Sony Ericsson MBW-200, manufactured by Fossil, comes in 3 models – Sparkling Allure, Contemporary Elegance, and Evening Classic. These 3 watches feature Bluetooth capability and music playback keys. The only catch is these watches are specifically made for Sony Ericsson cellphones. But I think it might still be working with other cellphones since they have the Bluetooth capability. Take a look.

Iron Man DVD Review
30 09 2008Here you go, folks. The highly anticipated, at least for me, Iron Man DVD and I just got my hands on right off the shelf today. And man, the sound FX is just a blast! My only complaint is it should have DTS 5.1 surround sound. But with the audio the disc has, it’s enough for me to blow the amp up in my home theater. Check out the link for Iron Man DVD review.

Stocks are going down
29 09 2008Well, after the announcement of the failed $700 billion bailout plan, Wall Street stocks tumble big time – almost 780 point decline. How about that. My hunch is things are going downhill from here and it will take a long long time to climb uphill again. Check out the link for more info.

End of an Era in Wall Street
29 09 2008I found this interesting article on the New York Times and pretty much said it’s the end of an era in Wall Street. I agree with this article now that the $700 billion bail out is in progress. No more easy money for Wall Street firms. They called the 1980s as an era of ‘yuppies’. I’m not sure what they called the 1990s. But I really want to know what people would call in 2000s including now.

RIP, Cool Hand Luke
27 09 2008Paul Newman passed away at the age of 83. The cause of death is believed to be cancer in which he battled for many years. I really like Paul Newman. He was a really great actor and created such memorables characters like Cool Hand Luke, Eddie Felson in “The Hustler”, Butch Cassidy in “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid”, and John Rooney in “Road to Perdition”.
Hollywood has lost another star.
Rest in peace, Paul Newman.

Cell Phone as a Car Key?
26 09 2008Apparently Sharp has joined forced with Nissan in creating a cellphone that can act as a car key. Quite nice! I’m not sure if this picture I found on Artcatchr is the finalized product or not. But it’s still quite an interesting take on the whole cellphone and automobile industries. The cellphone is expected to hit the market in 2009. Take a look at the article in the mean time.
