Beijing Olympics: Over and Done – What Now?

I think the biggest question for Beijing authorities right now is what to do with all the constructions and buildings that were built specifically with the Beijing Olympics in mind. According to this article from Yahoo News, Beijing is a city that is deeply loves its sports. I’m pretty sure that they can find creative ways to put these buildings into good use. For example, the Olympics Tennis Park, if I’m not mistaken, will be the main attraction for next year ATP event.

Once again, kudos to those who are involved in orchestrating the Beijing Olympics. You guys have done a marvelous job. Congratulations.

Hari Puttar vs. Harry Potter

Well, I think this is pretty funny but apparently Warner Bros. is taking the matter very seriously. There’s an Indian film called “Hari Puttar: A Comedy of Terrors” whose sound is similar to “Harry Potter” franchise. I can see why Warner Bros. is taking this seriously because, well, “Harry Potter” is a gold franchise for the studio and they wouldn’t want anything to ruin the movie’s titles or whatsoever.

Still, I think this is just funny.

Beijing Olympics Closing Ceremony Pictures

Honestly I like the opening ceremony more. It was very grandeur. However, the closing ceremony was on an epic grand scale as well. Very impressive. China, you’ve done a very good job! United Kingdom (England, Great Britain, whatever you want to call the country) is going to have a hard time figure out how to orchestrate the opening and closing ceremony to be at least as good as China did.
