Gloomy Ocean

I really like the lighting here. It makes the ocean look gloomy and nostalgic at the same time. And there’s something with the colorful balloon. Reminds me of Sin City movie where most of the movie is in black and white but in some shots you can see colorful images. Contrasting feeling indeed. You can also see a construction building in the background – as if the good old days have gone and the new modern age is approaching, thus giving the picture a sense of nostalgia.

Harry Winston is a well-known brand in jewelry but in the watch business as well. Harry Winston’s watch tends to look very simple but has a complex watch mechanism behind it and an elegant appearance, which is good. I like Opus 5 but there’s something about this new one. Opus 8 looks very different from other Opus models in the series. It has this “digital” look that sets it apart from other Opus. Nonetheless, it still has the fine touch of Harry Winston brand in it.

I just love this kind of stuff (http://alpha.artcatchr.com/posts/4937). It looks very simple but yet very attractive. I especially like the arrow-cursor mouse, the folder USB drive, and the stereo that resembles volume control in the computer. Wish I could buy all that, hehe. It’s all about design and idea that sell nowadays, I guess.

I’m not sure what this Blossa (http://alpha.artcatchr.com/posts/5042) is. Looks like a drink to me but their packaging are very colorful and attractive. I’m sure this drink is gonna catch a lot of drinkers.

Another side of Wonder Woman

I recently found this article on Artcatchr (http://alpha.artcatchr.com/posts/5063). I would say this is more like a reimagining Wonder Woman. Well, not reimagining per se but more like Wonder Woman in 1920s or 1930s Hollywood-esque. By adding an artistic touch, this picture, for me, portrays Wonder Woman as not just a strong Amazonian warrior princess but also ordinary human beings like any other woman. This picture shows a softer side of her. Go see for yourself.
